Colorism Part 1- (Introduction) Seeing Myself Inwardly

https://youtu.be/uiJCDw780U8 Brief Blurb of what this video is about. Okay, my first video in this series is called: Colorism Pt.1 Seeing Myself Inwardly – The Introduction and the definition of colorism. I didn’t know colorism was a thing I didn’t know racism was a thing I didn’t even know that people had different colors Like if there were different shades of skins For example, like black, white, yellow, brown, peach and so on It wasn’t until I got to 2nd grade then I realized that I was black I knew I was black as a race but didn’t know that I was also black as in a so-called secondary race/class of people...(frown face) It wasn’t until my alleged family and I moved out from the “hood” and into the suburbs that I realized that I was black. Not only did I get well informed that I was black. I was deeply informed of exactly what kind of black person I really classified into. In second grade, I learned I was “light-skinned” Instead of le...

YaY! πŸ₯³πŸ˜πŸ˜ƒ I Got 4,000 Subs!

On the first of January, I kinda made my goals to get 5,000 subscribers on YouTube by January 1st, 2021! I aimed high, so I don't feel bad or dissipointed in myself that the original amount wasnt achieced. I made it to 4,000! πŸ₯³ Taking it one bit at a time. So very happy to be here at this moment. My husband and son are both so happy for me. I am doing my best to grow my social media platform all across the board. Personally speaking, the reflection of my YouTube success is based on how far up the ladder I want to go. As of right now, I beleive I am successful. Briefcase in my hand and a Pink power suit on! That's how I feel about myself and my overall social media platforms. What a glorious way to start out the year!😍πŸ₯³πŸ₯°πŸ˜Ž

Moving Forward is Simply ThatπŸš›

Moving forward is simply just that. You want to move forward in your life ?  Then, here's all of the reasons why and how. How's 1) Be yourself. 🌸 2) Celebrate you!πŸ˜€ 3) Wear clothes and things that BEST reflect who you know you are inside. 4) Work on your best efforts Not to Lie to yourself.❤️ Why's 1) It would be a total sim into YOURSELF IF you aren't True to yourself. 2) It makes you open and receptive to others around you. 3) It becomes easer to absorb side bar sneak disses from others around you WHO are indeed talking about you in a bad way. 4) From personal experience, I've known it to be the ultimate Freedom!!🌸πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ₯°                πŸ’₯DON'T LIE TO YOURSELFπŸ’₯

Got a Date

The way she made the biscuits made my stomach hurl. The kitchen was dirty, her hair wasn't combed and the girl didn't even have a hair net on. I went to the manager and she looked the same. The same as the one chick serving me. Wall on the clock said it was time to leave but I had to stay despite of everything.  Despite of everything because in a few ticks and a few there was someone coming in to see me. Coming in to see me. Lil ole me. Made me happy and beyond the words of happy but the thing is as my butt sinks slowly into the leather cushion and the taps of the computer keys fill the screen as sweet words collide. Collide as the ice is doing while blending into the warm cola of my thinned out drink. Thinned out drink? Or should I say watered down. Dang, my drink turning flat.  Damn. Watered down like the funky finger waves in that ladies head who's sitting across from me. Dressed in all Purple, over there looking like freaking Barney. Got-damn! Got-daamm! GOT.....wel...

Love it!

Love the skin you're in. Update: 02/21/2021 I remember making this post a little bit. Like the part when choosing a picture. The reason this picture was chosen is the energy I got from viewing the picture. Seeing the black, contrasting image in my mind, right now gives me a smile. A smile that slowly pulls across my beautiful face. (I love my face) Thank you GOD for my face. (side note). The young woman in the photo is an example of self-acceptance. The photo states that she is who she is and that she is quite comfortable in herself and within her body. Not only does her smile say it, her shirt reads it as well. People, of Blogger Vill, I want to thank you for trusting the process in accepting your life and who you are. This is the best freedom one can have. I thank you for your time.
